May 2021

To our Indigenous friends, relatives, community:

Our hearts have been heavy and with you in these last weeks as the announcements of the 215 children uncovered on Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc lands, and now the 104 children who have been uncovered on Sioux Valley Dakota Nation lands and 35 unidentified bodies reported by the Muskowekwan First Nation, and the likely knowledge of future findings. Words cannot be enough to address these wrongs that have created the foundation of the Canada as a nation.

We would like to offer a collection of resources that have crossed our paths and seem relevant to the moment as we discuss, as a board and staff, the ways in which we can more directly offer support.
